ACTIVITIES: Medical Care (psychiatrist, clinical and geriatrician). Psychological Care. Attention to social work, occupational therapy and rehabilitation. Dental Care and podiatry. Coverage of basic needs: food, toilet, hygiene, washing clothes, etc. IMPACT: This project aims at the implementation of a Psychogeriatric service at the Sanatorio San Juan de Dios in Havana, dedicated to the integral and continuous attention of older adults who cannot maintain an independent and autonomous life due to their mental disorders, or who cannot be cared for as dependent adults by other means. The ultimate purpose of this service is to meet the needs of the older adults for their future reintegration into society
