The project's goals are, on the one hand, to supply drinking water to every household in the community in accordance with the standards of quantity, quality, accessibility, and price laid down by the WHO and United Nations; on the other hand, to strengthen the capacities of duty-bearers, bearers of responsibility, and rights holders in order to achieve a proper management of the water system, where democratic governance and gender equality are determining factors.
