The WHO reports that up to 2 per cent of newborns are born with the most severe form of the disease, with an infant mortality rate that can reach between 50 per cent and 75 per cent in the absence of adequate care. The project's goal is the management of sickle cell anemia in children and adolescents. Target group: pregnant women and children aged 0 to 15 years from vulnerable populations. Location: Ivory Coast, region of Yamoussoukro.
</oembed>
