It also creates positive bonds of friendship between them. MAIN ACTIVITIES: A weeklong stay in the Isle of Jersey sharing their talents and experiences with other girls in a place other than their own culture. IMPACT: One of the most important areas of this project is to encourage young people to develop positive relationships through new friendships with their environment and with older locals of the island, by sharing social activities, volunteer work and household duties. This requires commitment for group work, leadership and motivation. It provides the girls with capabilities that will continue into their adulthood."}
