Getting to know the Global South through its traditional games and trades
This project offers the elderly in our retirement homes, day care centers, and retirees’ clubs the opportunity of understanding the reality of Guatemala through games, activities, and group dynamics. In turn, it inspires a valuable cultural exchange between elderly people from Spain and Guatemalan women from Junkacentro, strengthening links of global solidarity and impacting Guatemala directly. Through video-testimonies, participants share experiences about traditional trades and sustainable lifestyles, promoting mutual learning and recognizing others as agents for change.
