The project aims at a comprehensive or holistic intervention in poor rural communities of the Guatemalan Highlands located in the departments of Quetzaltenango and Totonicapán, encouraging families, directors and teachers to work together to promote:
• The equal access of boys and girls between 4 and 6 years at the pre-school level.
• The improvement of the quality of education at this level of education.
• The nutritional recovery of children at risk.
• The establishment of minimum conditions of school sanitation. The project is focused on promoting just and lasting settlements, thus helping the educational community and families to take control of their own destiny.
