AIM: Contribution to the reduction of the frequency of childhood diseases caused by malnutrition and poor hygiene conditions through training and awareness-raising among mothers (Yamoussoukro and surrounding villages).
ACTIVITIES and IMPACT: Training and awareness rising of 500 mothers in nutrition and hygiene: Improvement of hygiene in 500 homes in the area; 500 mothers implement good food practices in their homes. Nutritional support to 200 children aged from 0 to 5 years. All the medical and paramedical personnel of the Center have knowledge of pediatrics and are involved in the monitoring of children. Medical visits to 15 rural schools in the area have been held.

OBJETIVO: Contribuir a la reducción de la frecuencia de enfermedades infantiles provocadas por la malnutrición y la higiene a través de la formación y de la sensibilización de las madres.
ACTIVIDADES E IMPACTO: Formación y sensibilización de 500 madres en nutrición e higiene: Mejora de la higiene en 500 hogares de la zona; 500 madres aplican buenas prácticas alimenticias en sus hogares. Apoyo nutricional a 200 niños de 0 a 5 años. Todo el personal médico y paramédico del Centro posee nociones de pediatría y está implicado en el seguimiento de los niños. Visitas médicas a las 15 escuelas rurales de la zona.
