Marrere Nutritional Center
The objective of the center is to contribute to the reduction of infant mortality in the region around Marrere, Nampula. The center being built will focus on two fundamental areas:
• Nutritional rehabilitation: accompany mothers and monitor their children’s growth through height and weight measurements until they reach 12 weeks of age. Maintain medical oversight, giving continuity to treatments prescribed at doctor visits.
• Reinforcing mothers’ health awareness so that they adopt more adequate nutritional habits.

Servicio de Nutrición Nutricional en Marrere
El objetivo del centro es contribuir a la disminución de la mortalidad infantil en el ámbito de Marrere, Nampula. El centro que se está construyendo tiene dos enfoques fundamentales:
• La rehabilitación nutricional: acompañando a las madres y los niños en su crecimiento y mediciones de peso y altura hasta las 12 semanas. Mantener vigilancia médica, dando continuidad a los tratamientos prescritos en las consultas.
• Fortalecimiento de los conocimientos sanitarios de las madres para que adopten hábitos alimentarios más adecuados.
