Improvement of living conditions and prevention of COVID-19 through universal, equitable, and sustainable access to drinking water in the rural indigenous community of Cotoquita (Municipality of San Ignacio de Velasco, Santa Cruz -Bolivia)

Food, nutrition, and hygiene practices will be strengthened by providing them with a nutritional supplement. 60 peasant women and their families will be involved in the project, implementing: 60 improved kitchens, development of abilities for their proper use and maintenance, good practices in health and environment, which will decrease smoke and tree felling, allowing them to have more spare time for training and implementation of good practices in food preparation. This has a direct effect on good nutrition and better living conditions of children.

Mejora de las condiciones de vida y prevención del COVID-19, a través del acceso universal, equitativo y sostenible al agua potable, en la comunidad rural indígena de Cotoquita (Municipio de San Ignacio de Velasco, Santa Cruz -Bolivia)
En la comunidad indígena de Cotoquita se construirá un sistema de distribución que permitirá llevar el agua potable hasta las viviendas, beneficiando de forma directa a 202 personas (104 mujeres). Los beneficiarios conformarán un Comité para gestionar el servicio de agua potable de manera sostenible. Se dictarán talleres en promoción de Derechos, higiene y prevención de enfermedades, con especial atención al Covid-19, y se disminuirá la incidencia de enfermedades infecciosas.
