Training women volunteers to be promoters of health, specialized in maternal and child care and nutrition, as a strategy to allow for expectant mothers and children with malnutrition of the Retalhuleu department to recover and increase their life expectancy
We work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition in rural areas by raising awareness in the families and training volunteers through health programs. The women beneficiaries improve their capacity to assist the sick, to know when to transfer patients and give first-aid assistance through the use of previously-trained medical actors.

Formación de Promotoras Voluntarias en Salud especializadas en salud materna, infantil y nutricional como una estrategia para lograr que niños y madres gestantes en estado de desnutrición del departamento de Retalhuleu logren su recuperación y mejoren su esperanza de vida
Trabajamos por mejorar la salud materna, infantil y nutricional en comunidades rurales a través de la sensibilización a familias y formación de voluntarias sanitarias. Las mujeres beneficiarias mejoran sus capacidades de acompañamiento, referencia oportuna y atención básica gracias a la participación de agentes de salud ya entrenados.
