Nutritional recovery of vulnerable families in the department of Totonicapan, promoting the welfare of their community
AIM: Contributing to the provision of basic health services of the disaster-stricken population, through effective medical care and nutritional recovery of children and expectant mothers.
ACTIVITIES: 80 people have been treated with basic health treatment, of which 90% regain their optimal health. 2 communities have been served with basic health activities. Population of these communities contribute to health education in their locality. 4 medical days have been held, allowing curative, preventive and nutritional health care of the population.
IMPACT: 80 people are attended in medical days and have better family wellbeing. 25 children and 10 expectant mothers improve their nutrition, providing them a hope of wellbeing and contributing to the development of their community.
