Health support for child population of The Toumbokro region
AIM: Reduction of child mortality through a program of health actions that integrate the prevention of childhood diseases in the family and school environment.
ACTIVITIES and IMPACT: 400 consultations per month were carried out during one year. 24 vaccination campaigns have been held with a total of 1000 vaccines administered. 3 campaigns have been held in 15 schools with a total of 3.000 children attended. 300 women have been trained in nutrition. 300 women have been trained in hygiene. 2000 people, especially women and children, have participated in the AIDS prevention campaigns

Apoyo Sanitario a la población infantil de la región de Toumbokro
OBJETIVO: Reducir la mortandad infantil a través de un programa de acciones sanitarias que integren la prevención de enfermedades infantiles en el medio familiar y escolar.
ACTIVIDADES E IMPACTO: Se han realizado 400 consultas/mes durante un año. Se han realizado 24 campañas de vacunación con un total de 1000 vacunas administradas. Se han realizado 3 campañas en 15 escuelas con un total 3.000 niños atendidos. Se ha capacitado en nutrición 300 mujeres. Se ha capacitado en higiene 300 mujeres. 2000 personas, sobre todo mujeres y niños, han participado en las compañas de prevención de VIH SIDA.
