Direct assistance will be given to 400 of child malnutrition cases, overseeing their nutritional recovery, and providing them the appropriate treatment. The mothers of 400 families will be empowered to enhance their nutrition and health, so they can manage to break the cycle of malnutrition. This action will be completed with the training of 200 voluntary health promoters, who will build health care networks in the community. This effort will be reinforced by providing 10 scholarships in the area of auxiliary nursing for the community youth, in order to enable them to remain in the community.

Se ofrece atención directa a 400 casos de desnutrición (infantil) y se da seguimiento a su recuperación nutricional, brindándoles el tratamiento adecuado. Se capacita a 400 madres de familia, para que sepan mejorar su alimentación y su salud y romper con el círculo de la desnutrición. La intervención se completa con la formación de 200 voluntarias en salud, que constituirán a nivel comunitario redes de atención y reacción de salud en la comunidad. Se fortalece este componente mediante la provisión de 10 becas para jóvenes de la comunidad, auxiliares enfermería, que permanezcan en ellas.
