Training women volunteers to be promoters of health with particular attention to prevention protocols in subjects such as maternal and child care and household nutrition, as a means to improve the nutrition of unweaned babies and mothers of child-bearing age in rural communities of the Huehuetenango department
We work to improve maternal and child health and nutrition in rural areas by raising awareness in the families and training volunteers through health programs. The women beneficiaries improve their capacity to assist the sick, to know when to transfer patients and give first-aid assistance through the use of previously-trained medical actors.

Cualificación de Promotoras (es) Voluntarias en Salud con especial atención en el componente de prevención en las áreas de formación materna, infantil y nutricional familiar, como un medio para lograr la nutrición de los niños lactantes y madres en etapa fértil, en comunidades rurales del departamento de Huehuetenango
Trabajamos por mejorar la salud materna, infantil y nutricional en comunidades rurales a través de la sensibilización a familias y formación de voluntarias sanitarias. Las mujeres beneficiarias mejoran sus capacidades de acompañamiento, referencia oportuna y atención básica gracias a la participación de agentes de salud ya entrenados.
