The Olympiads took place on May 31st at the assembly hall of Civivox Iturrama, Pamplona. They began with the entrance of a representation of each participating center waving a flag with its emblem or logo on it, as a nod to the Olympic Games. After a brief presentation of the event, the students presented their #iDeas2030 to the audience and the jury. The jury was formed by the major of La Cendea de Cizur, Mr. Rafael Ansó, the reporter of Diario de Navarra, Ms. Sonsoles Echavarren, the education technician of NGDO Coordinator of Navarra, Ms. Marian Pascual, the principal of the school Teresa Bertrán de Lis, of Cadreita, Ms. Inmaculada González Martín, the technical secretary of the Herrikoa Federation, Ms. Noelia Echarri Arana, and the president of the Catholic Confederation of Parents’ Associations of Navarra, Ms. Teresa Mòdol. A total of 8 #iDeas2030 from 6 schools were presented:
- Amor de Dios (PE): S-L Food Collection Campaign.
- El Molino: Let’s take care of the Arga river.
- Miravalles-El Redín: Organize a “Uniform Bank” to reduce families’ consumption of school clothes.
- Sagrado Corazón (ESO, Mandatory Secondary Education): Distribution of food with the Unzu Txiki Berri Association.
- Amor de Dios (ESO, Mandatory Secondary Education): Our elderly.
- Sagrado Corazón (Early Childhood Education): Shine, Ocean, shine! Awareness raising about caring of beaches and seas.
- Teresa Bertrán de Lis: Bazaar for girls’ education in Guatemala.
- Marqués de la Real Defensa: Campaign #MóvilesDeSangre (Blood mobiles).
The video shot by the Early Childhood and Primary Education Public School Teresa Bertrán de Lis, which was elected by popular vote as Agent Center, was awarded a diploma. Afterwards, after acknowledging male and female teachers who have worked on the development of the #iDeas2030, Javier Ibáñez Ibarrola was awarded a medal and a diploma.
